The Angel and the Vampire (A very very old piece of work)

This piece might just have been the first serious attempt of me to write something in English I left it the way I found it back just yet. Someone very dear to me inspired me on this piece. And as I just read it I could feel it’s magic back again.

Let me know If you can feel it’s magic. Even though it is not entirely correct, it is a precious piece of work for me.

The Angel and the Vampire

The world has changed. I feel it in the water I feel it in the air.Things that were, will be. things that are, will be forgotten.

Since the dawn of the universe where I was born I have sought.I have sought back to my origin. I wandered in silence through the depths of the ages.

Alone, always alone. Long have I yearned and in vain denied. I’ am ancient, my time here is short, my quest is all but completed yet edged by the sword.

My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies. Bright is the light that shows, when you look into my hearth. There is no need to be afraid, we are all immortal beings.

The world has changed. I feel it in the water I feel it in the air. Things that were, will be. things that are will be forgotten.

Since the dawn of the universe where I was born I have sought. I have sought back to my origin. I wandered in silence through the depths of the ages.

Alone, And then, then you where there:

” Where have you been? For many suns have set since last we met and the world is a different place now”.
You looked at me and my hearth choked, you said to me:

” Who art thou, to come to me and strike my hearth, with dozens of arrows derived from the sickening quiver, of the muse Cupid. You whom I have sought after for so many ages.  From when the world was young and the rains poured down from the hellish skies, until the era that we now live in.Thou who art as old as I am. I waited for you, there at the beginning of time it self. When the earth was barren and acid rained from the skies.”

But I was there, and I saw her coming from the pool of life. And I let her go, for I knew.

and I waited and waited ,  and the rains poured down for millions of years.

And I sighed.

Then you touched me.  Sending shivers through my spine.  and we looked at each other.  A year passed and then another.  As statues we where. locked in a moment of infinity. And as the world of mortal men drove us past the world passed by. And we where young again. Playing in the cradle of life.  And we looked up an saw the stars of a million dreams.  And we where there, forever, in eternity. Amongst all of them we had lost.  We danced eons and eons. Because we knew nothing could drive us apart.
